Klak: will the rope that you have set up with the clips on it work on the poles you can buy from teh store that are extendable? I'm in the spot next to you in N2. I may come over and talk to you abolut it Saturday. I saw the one you sold to 1peat47 and it looked really cool.

Is there a loop of any kind on the top of the extendable pole? If there is, then it should work.

I need to upload my pics. The pole works and looks great. There wasn't much wind when I took the pictures. It is very sturdy considering how small in diameter to pole is.

What's the difference between these poles and the ones at the bookstore?

These are made out of metal conduit, so even with lots of flags in a stiff wind, you'll see very little flex. And it's still light enough to carry around with no problems.

Do you have any pics of the pole? What size does it collapse to?
Thanks,

Klak, great to meet you too. The flag pole turned out great and it easily held all 6 championship flags plus a big GSU flag. My group might be getting one more from you soon, but I will be in touch. Again, thanks for getting it together so quickly!

It is 2 10 foot sections with the top piece sliding inside of the bottom on. So it collapses down to 10 feet. I didn't take any pics on Saturday of ours, but I will check with 1peat, he might have and then we can post them on here. Klak and eaglewraith did a great job and they even tie the flag clips onto the rope to get them spaced perfectly.

Klak - do you guys take the rope down and wrap that up with the flags on? I made a mistake in judgement and got it all tangled up, so I had to take the flags off and untangle the rope. I thought I was being smart by trying it to the pole, which seriously backfired on me. :o

We take the flags off and then wrap the rope. It may be worth it to get something to wrap the rope on for transport.

To add onto this we have a bin that we keep a lot of our regular tailgating stuff in, so the flags and the rope stay in there, that way we always have it around and don't have to worry about those tangling issues you spoke of ;)
Glad you guys like it btw
