I think they should make another one at the App game this year. Should be a pretty intense tailgate.

Speaking of App State ... An ASU alumnus told me that Jerry Moore is actively recruiting as many App fans as possible to make the trek to the 'boro this year. The number that was repeated to me was he was asking for 4K App fans to make the trip to support the Jethro's.
If we can find a way to keep winning and they do also it makes for a very interesting day at Paulson.

Outside of Furman in 2001, and Marshall in 1989, I doubt there have been many teams outside the state of Georgia who have brought more than 3000 fans with them.
App brought a pretty good contigent down in Y2K, but it was well under 2000 and may have been even under 1000.
Outside of Furman and Marshall when they were in the league, none of our conference foes bring many fans.
FAMU and South Florida are the only non-conference opponents who have ever represented an appreciable amount in attendance, IMO.

Yeah, I saw at least 5000 gsu fans when we cracked the rock! How about 21 pts the 1st quarter to quiet those hillbillies quickly. Go eagles!

Great video. I look forward to seeing another one next week.
As far as Appy is concerned, if we give them more than 500 tickets something is wrong. Let them buy grass seats at best.

From the tailgaters who had the platform on the back of the pickup (Around 2:27): "80 square feet, hold up to 4 tons." I believe the 80 square feet, but I can't see that platform holding 4 tons. Maybe someone on here with more engineering or construction knowledge can tell me if I'm right or not.

It could probably hold 4 tons under a static load, but that thing isn't still with all the people moving around and a questionable base. Talk about top heavy! Great idea, I love the innovation!

I don't know about 5k, but we had a lot up there. We had a ton at Wofford too. AT app, the band being there helped as well :D

We shouldn't give them any more tickets than they gave us last year. It seems I heard 300 last year.
