Paul gave me the ok so I'll go ahead and post this here.
My wife, Heather, is a photographer as some of you may know and we're currently trying to do right by folks to see if we can get local business because driving all the time gets old. She's been doing documentary photography for 10 years and has recently started offering her services to individuals. She's received great reactions in Savannah but honestly, we want to do right by OUR community as well here in Statesboro.
Southern has won her over and she's decided to offer a discount to Georgia Southern fans. This means any fans within 4 hours, so yeah we'll drive to Atlanta but you gotta realize that she's gonna want to add some compensation for gas. Other than that, we just want to get to know our neighbors and show that we're pulling for the boys in blue.
25% of all "Southern packages" will be donated to Southern Boosters as we both wish to do more for the cause. In addition, we'll tell you our pricing plan outright:
Maternity/Family/Engagement/Seasonal Shots: Statesboro and surrounding areas ($100)
Within Georgia *reasonable gas compensation*
Heather's primary training came from her work with the Duke University Documentary Department on location in Mexico and New York. Her style tends to lean more toward defining natural moments over excessive posing (and yeah, I'm name dropping and horribly impressed with her work).
She's also available for weddings but given the variable nature of wedding services, we won't rope ourselves into pricing but suffice it to say, the 25% thing holds true for Southern fans in weddings as well. We also will offer discounts for the remainder of the football season...all the way to Chatty.
