Here's a link to what has to be the most rare Georgia Southern coke bottle of all time.

http://cgi.ebay.com/1980-GEORGIA-SOUTHERN-NATIONAL-CHAMPION-COKE-BOTTLE_W0QQitemZ220320850919QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_ DefaultDomain_0?hash=item220320850919&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A10%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

The seller is asking for a $275 minimum bid. Why? Because apparently this bottle was manufactured five years BEFORE Georgia Southern won their first national championship.

That's right, this bottle was made before Georgia Southern even founded their football program. Just think, for only $275 you could have a commemorative Coca-Cola bottle that predates the beginnings of Eagles football, predates Erk Russell coming to Statesboro, and predates Tracy Ham even hearing of the Triple Option offense. And this bottle actually predicts the date and scores of Georgia Southern's first Championship season . . . FIVE YEARS IN ADVANCE!!!

And to top off this offer, they're even supplying FREE SHIPPING for the winning bid.

What a bargain. Let the bidding begin.

I think the rarest is the Pepsi National Champs bottle. I keep missing them when they wind up on eBay.

By chance where did you get it? The last time one was on eBay I forgot when the ending time was and missed out.

I've got that 1980 Championship Season bottle and two of the 1985-1986 bottles.

But mine say's 1980 National Championship: Georgia Bulldogs #1 and the other two are for GSU's 1985-1986 years.

Time doesn't matter anymore. They use maximum bid with a time stamp. For example I put in a $200 bid on an item and got it for $77.

I wonder how many broken down cars and appliances there are in the yard? Any bets on if it is a double wide?

My favorite part of the auction:
IT IT THE GEORGIA SOUTHER.....WOULD BE GREAT FOR YOU ANTIQUE

$20 says there is a big G in their front window.

I just figured out what is in this guy's front yard:

A M-80 would do a fine job on that 1980 bottle in your possession.
