GSU to Host Bracket Buster Game

So we're doing the bracket buster game again this year...but this year we actually get to host! With a return game from Austin Peay from last year, that makes at least 2 decent home games outside of the conference this year.

Are we building some sort of rivalry with AP? 2 years in basketball and this year in football.

Well in basketball the deal is that we played at their place during the Bracket Buster and you automattically receive a return home game the next year if you play on the road. It happened with Illinois-Chicago as well as Illinois State. So whoever we host this year in the Bracket Buster will have a home game against us next year.

I don't think the Bracket Buster game will be against Austin Peay. Coach Price said we would play another Mid-Major team announced by ESPN.

That is correct. The Bracket Buster game will be against an opponent that will be named a couple of weeks before the game is to take place. But we get a home game against Austin Peay this year b/c we played at their place in last year's BB game.
