<!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> If ya dont know enough bout GSU football to even know who graduated keep your opinions to yourself. Just like the parking all the ones on here last year *%^#*%^#*%^#*%^#*%^#ed bout not having a parking place really showed your colors last night. They apparently bought most of the first and second row parking places and over half the places were left empty. Keep it up Southern Boosters cater to the out of town cry babys who dont even know the names of players or anything bout them. This is GSU not UGA we aint a big social club.

(joke post in reference to THIS (http://67.227.135.160/tsc/showthread.php?t=88) for those who didnt know)

Guess Clark accumulated alot of hours last summer if he graduated cause he was listed as junior on last years roster (hummmmmmmm) and was later moved from qb to fb and some te until he IMO purposely missed a block at Woffard and nearly got J Fos killed after that he played the bench along with his piss poor attitude.

I think the class designation listed is based on the player's year of eligibility and not how many credit hours he has. That's why you sometimes see players playing after they've graduated.

Billy Lowe's dad made a post in the summertime, I believe he has some sort of back issues. Hopefully Billy will be back next year.

Travis was demoted to 4th string QB I believe before changing positions. He does have 1 more year of eligibility that he decided not to use.

1peatfor7 would you classify that as quitting the team with one year of eligibility left?

IMO, if you graduate from school as a non-starter the situation is a lot different.

Peat also Travis was playing for Lincoln County in 2004 and was at Southern Miss in 2005, transferred to GSU in 2006 under Vanfarter's command and was moved from qb in 2007 by Hatcher. Now its 2008 and he graduated i think not unless he got a degree in three years of college which I highly doubt. But what do I know. I’m not being a smart a$$ to you Peat just running his career through my mind.

Travis Clarke hasn't graduated he quit the team because he was told he would not be playing qb any more. He was tired of getting shuffled around and yes I believe that he did have a poor attitude about the whole situation. I think he might be one of the only people in Statesboro that would like to see BVG back.

Paintballer....you are quite the angry drummer.

Why the hostility about parking...if one pays for their spot and decide to come to the game 1 minute before kick-off or not at all why do you care.

I'm not an angry guy. I'm a lover. Not a fighter.

I see......I didn't even know you could do that

Hey I have a band question: Would you want to have bleachers erected in the end zone and be able to play straight out so that both side can hear as well as creating a huge home field advantage for teams coming that way

I wouldn't have a problem with that. I'd like to have some fans around us too though. I also would be pretty pissed if it was little league style stuff like we had against ASU. IMO, putting a rabid student section in there with us would be a really good idea.

Actually, that's a REALLY good idea.

My idea is really like the south end of Ga Tech (there band actually sits on the north side)...the bleachers are not little league but permanent...I would square it off and run the length of the end zone (that is about 150 feet)...so at 24" that would be 75 seats wide by maybe another 25 rows high...that is just under 2000 seats so there would plenty of room for Band in the middle and maybe create (and auction) some Greek blocks...what do you think...I know that a bowl is popular but those seats in the back/top arch of the bowl would be a long way from the action...just my thoughts...I do like the Ban playing out from the end zone

That's actually a really good idea. For the record, a "seat" is only 18 inches, so you would actually have more than 75. You could squeeze another 25 in by true definition and have 100 seats across the front. Put the band on one side and that leaves a block of students that is at least 50*20. They could be our "Eagle's Nest".

yeah...your right about the 18"...I was thinking about the band needing a little more space.
