    Complete horse poop.
Maybe. Louisiana's coach has a tough decision. Provided that all the higher seeded teams win their games, the winner of the GS-UL game faces Coastal. If you are the UL coach, which game do you want Leger to start? If we play last, the coach's choice becomes easier.

Zero chance ULL doesn't pitch Leger against us IMO. It would be foolish to do that in single elimination against us.
Hey, Tyson! Change the culture back!

If you think TK is the reason we don't have better non-conference football schedules, see this post.

You don't save your starter for Game 7 when you have to win Game 6

The only advantage here is if we get some productivity at the plate we knock out a team that knocked us out last year. Would love to avenge that right out of the gate.

But the pressure of playing elimination baseball every pitch, every at-bat, every inning will lead to some unforced errors IMO which usually benefits the experienced teams who have demonstrated over the course of the season a better batting average, better fielding average, ERA, etc, etc.

Also, I wonder what the weather may bring as this front cleans up ... but as of now it looks to be pretty calm mid-day Thursday as far as winds go, but really picking up Saturday and Sunday (projected winds in the double digits). As a coach you have to consider who you have pitching and what kind of outs they generally produce, especially as the averages would say the better hitting teams will advance toward the weekend.

And you don't save your closer for the ninth inning when you need 3 outs in the 8th.

    Oh wait.

+1, I feel bad for the SR's, their last time in the GS uniform and it could be one and done. But that goes to all the teams SR's.

Are partial refunds going to made to those that bought tickets for a double elimination tourney with part of the tourney held elsewhere?

Great minds think alike. That's the exact thing I was going to post until I saw your replay.

Anyway it's not raining and hasn't rained remotely hard all day. Good job Sun Belt. Pretty obvious you wanted single elimination.
