Thread: Now that the regular baseball season is over for GS

  1. Default Now that the regular baseball season is over for GS

The regular season may be over but I know so many of the players will playing in a summer league somewhere. Don't get to too many MLB games but would love to support the kids wherever they may play. Any one know where some of our kids may be playing. I didn't see any names on any of the teams in the league that the Savannah Bananas play in. Maybe some will be added now that GS is finished. Any one know any thing.

This years major league baseball draft will be June 12-14th. None of this years seniors can sign with a club until after the draft.

I understand this. Most of the underclassmen will go play in a wood bat league or some other league over the summer. as they did last year like Savannah. Are any Eagles going anywhere to play.

He's talking the Cape Cod or other similar leagues. I haven't heard of anything yet. The school will release news if it happens.

I hear that Baldwin and maybe another Eagle or two are headed to the Cape.

That would be huge for Baldwin, scouts see what he can do with the wooden bat and great competition. My best friend Burls(rest his soul) played in the cape when he was at Oneonta State.

It would be good for all the Eagles if they could play summer ball somewhere. Keep Eagle Nation posted.
