And Rodney only has 11.7 scholarships to split up among 25 guys, so Seth will stay on a football scholarship. Per NCAA MLB draft rules, we have him for 2 more years guaranteed.

JR Revere QB'ed a national title while doing both.

He'll miss the "voluntary" summer workouts, and depending on how long he stays with the baseball team, up to half of fall camp. I doubt CTS will allow that, so we'll see when he's back at football.
So we will know by the first week of August if he will be football or not.

It was in the last academic year. Does anyone know if this has changed?

As far as I know it hasn't. He will have a ton of MLB scouts watching his every game in the Cape this summer, hope he pitches well.

yep, that is what I heard too. Had a number of nice conversations with your son this year, partly because I didn't want him to get discouraged and to let him know all us fans are behind him. He is a good kid, says the back is healing and he's REALLY pumped up for next season. I told him,"Good, cause we going to need you!".
