Hopefully she will bring along her assistant who I believe is a GS graduate.

Armstrong has a great softball team. Could be a lot worse.

Hopefully raiding Armstrong's coaches (women's tennis and softball) will make the transition go smoother.

I dont know how much a one year coach had to do with that but ok and it was a good DIV II team. You realize this is not football, DIV II is wayyy down the totem poll as every FCS football team is DIV I in all other sports. Plus some non football schools have DIV I softball. Not to mention all the DIV II coaches that have years of experience and winning that just got passed over. "Things could be worse" is not a valid argument. "Hey I just broke my arm, but happy because it could have been worse and been my neck" This is PC merger garbage probably coming from up the chain. One year as a HC with a team she mainly did not recruit or develop, yes that scream DIV I qualifications especially for a really strong SB conference like the Belt is. But this will not make or break the athletics department or get any fired so hopefully the one year at Armstrong was not a fluke. Just sad to see sports being used to appease people. Especially Armstrong people who did not support athletics at all.

TK just dropped the ball again. Going for the PC/cheap hire instead of the most qualified coach. I wish her well and hope she turns out to be a great one, but she shouldn't have gotten the job.

Who would you have gone with?
Hey TK! Change the culture back!

If you think TK is the reason we don't have better non-conference football schedules, see this post.
