Thread: Auburn Game Travel Arrangements

    Default Auburn Game Travel Arrangements

Has anyone looked at hotel arrangements for the Auburn game? Where is everyone going stay? Does anyone know if there is going to be an official Georgia Southern sponsored tailgate?

Just trying to get everything lined up....

I believe Alumni Relations is doing a tailgate. You may get better information if you call them.

As with any SEC school, be prepared for a 2 night minimum and $250/night charge for a 2 star hotel within an hour of campus.

I know from living in Columbus for awhile that a lot of away teams as well as visitors for Auburn games usually stay in Columbus. Rates don't typically fluctuate as much there because of an Auburn home game like they would in the Auburn area. Be prepared for about a 40 minute ride, but definitely a lot more to do in your time there. Just be aware of the Alabama State Troopers that like to work the highways on gameday weekends.

We booked at the Candlewood Suites in Auburn for $179.00/night. 3.6 miles from the stadium.

Columbus is 30 miles away and easy to get 1 night stay.

Only chance of this team winning less than 6 games is if it's ravenged by injuries. Anybody predicting 4 wins or some crap like that is clueless. Post Arkansas St game is going to be fun around here to watch the crow being eaten. Heck, even post UNH is going to provide some fun.

Apparently no rooms in Columbus as of today Wednesday. This may be a bigger game than all of us think. I know an Auburn alumni and they told me that night games are the best!
