If you spot an actual Gag State fan in the wild, please do not attempt to feed it or pet it.

Just alert the proper authorities. They need to capture one and study it. Beasts so rare must be understood better by the scientific community. Like Bigfoot, it's hard to even find good evidence that they exist.

I believe that is their "nickname" for Statesboro, not Paulson Stadium.

In terms of facilities cost we should be looking for a contribution of $50M or more to really swing the argument.
    "Our House"
    "The house that Erk Built"
    "The Prettiest Little Stadium"

Exactly my point. The "Swamp" has an official name owing to a cattle baron family from central and south Florida. There are a couple of "Death Valleys", The "Big House", the "Horseshoe", etc. The official names are different. Then there are the "Bryant-Dennys" (sp.?). Just saying there is a lot of wiggle room when the big donors are ready.

    Bryant-Denny isn't a good example.

Denny was the name of the president of the school when the stadium was built.

    Bryant is for Bear Bryant.

It would be like us changing the name to Russell-Lick Stadium.

More applicable would be the renaming of Carolina Stadium to Williams-Brice following a major renovation from funds provided by the estates of 2 people.

Good point. The idea is that name changes do happen, and hyphenation is one avenue for this, as stadiums evolve over time.

Do the old traditions preclude the formation of new ones? If boroeagle2, Inc. pays for the expansion (with much more $ than even the inflation-adjusted amount that Paulson contributed), then would it be such a big problem for it to be Glenn Bryant Field at boroeagle2-A.E. Paulson Stadium? I'm not trying to antagonize you Geechee, I'm just looking at this as a thought exercise is all (offseason you know).
The point is, it should be immortal, not something that dies and goes away if somebody later writes a bigger check.

Wrong. There is a timeline on naming rights. It says so in the contract.
