Nope, it's over. Had he not said a word, everyone knows our fate this season and beyond if he's still the coach.

What did JMU do to ECU and GT just got how many yards against a real SEC team? Also didn't recent dumpster fire Army just hang a billion on someone not even completing a pass....I think another team did that as well not to long ago against top 10 defense recruits....Please go away with that nonsense the option works if you have players and competent coaching the end.

I am good with option based we have seen many variations work. I have been consistent on this. I just hate when people dump on the flex because it works just as good as any option based offense. I think going under center should be apart of any option based offense though. You cant watch a GT game and think that it does not give you a huge advantage for certain plays and situations.

They're trying to run the option with a damn dink-and-dunk zone-blocking bunch of fat slow o-linemen who can't move, that's why this crap isn't working.

And Cook isn't the head coach. He's an offensive coordinator.

I'm not even sure TS is the head coach. I think it's that carpetbagging yankee wearing AD stripes who's the real head coach here.

And I so wish somebody else would hire him.

Actually, I'll be honest. One reason I preferred Houston over Chadwell in 2015 is that Houston ran the flex. I wanted him to bring his entire staff from The Citadel, including Brent Thompson.

Houston comes from the defensive side of the ball, and his success with a different offense only proves just how good he is.

    AFAIK, he's not a super-douche like Chadwell.

Count me in that 97 year old group, but much younger. Everytime we stray from our "roots" it does not go well. The Flex TO gives us a recruiting advantage that we aren't competing with bigger and better financed programs for body types and stars to run a "21 Century Offense", it is difficult to prepare for in a week. It is difficult to adjust to the speed that the TO is executed from the flex, future millionaire DL and LBs don't like people hitting them low, hard, and continuously. If Saban don't like defending it, then that's what you should do, we can not Out-thUGA thGUA, Out-Bama Bama, Out-Baylor Baylor, etc. but we can be a pretty dang good GS. The service academies do pretty well competing with all the recruiting distractors they have, we can play like that, heck two of them have emulated the "old" GS and sustained it. We can play like that and recruit better athletes and be very successful.
