    What part? GS has many alumni in Texas, some with home season tickets. They have watch parties and travel to many events at UTA, Monroe, Texas State, NMSU, UL, etc. Look them up.

    Was kind of hoping to see a larger number outside the Erk and PJ years.

    I've always thought about whether students who are here when things are going great for the program are more likely to still be involved or emotionally invested after graduation.

    Almost all Eagle fans I know started in the PJ era. Even the ones i didn't meet while i was attending GS from 1999 to 2001

    Well like probably most of GS students we did not know a thing about FCS football before we attended GS. So 1998 for me when I saw a playoff bracket on someones table from the year before and was bummed to see we lost but knew we had a good football team.
