Continueity and stability remains, Coach Chad knows all the kids. It would be seamless transition, like I said, to be honest not many folks would even notice, NOR would people be shocked. I'm pretty sure the major comment would be, "Well, 5-7 last year with all those talented Seniors and now just being embarrassed by losing to a poor FCS school........ya, I can see why...." The team, program wouldn't miss a beat. Both coordinators could stay focused on their jobs and we would regain some dignity. Having him stay with his poor motivation skills and this team going anywhere from 0-12 to 4-8 would only breed more discontent and only postpone the inevitable, cut him loose now and see if some level of success can follow with a fresh set of eyes guiding the weakened ship.
Good analysis and I wish it would happen, but you know what you have written in the past (sort of depressingly). "No way... he will be here for his entire four years" etc. Maybe if you've tipped even TK will tip.

Rad, I think your right, my head says we keep him through the length of his contract, I mean, what the heck, we are just a small fish in a big pond, in a lowly G5 Conferance, what difference does it make? My gut, if I'm the AD, tells me we got to make a change. But, I doubt it. Let's hope something happens positive but all the excuses are rock solid in place, youngest team in FBS, new OC, redshirt freshman QB...... I'll tell you what, TK NEEDS TO SAY SOMETHING!, either fire the guy or come out and give him a vote of confidence. This sitting around wondering who we have a honest shot at beating this year isn't that fun. IMO the Indiana game will tell us nothing. THE game will be the Wednesday night ArkState game.

When it got rocky last year, TK went completely dark until after we beat Troy.

    I'd expect similar activity again.

I can't imagine us keeping TS past this season.

I can't imagine him staying this entire season.

If TK really thinks he can let things just go like this, he is mistaken. We seriously wouldn't sell 1000 season tickets next year. Just the drop in season ticket sales would cost far more than any HC salary savings we are worrying about.

I think we are finding out why some players have even transferred to JUCO.

That's almost always because of academic problems.
