    Exactly.

    Because there is no buyout.

    Correct.

But that will also occur even if he is no longer the head coach of Georgia Southern football.

It sure would be nice if CTS would do what the Oregon State coach did. He walked away with a mutual agreement with the school for no pay from either side.

Bet there's more to that agreement than is public...
Hey TK! Change the culture back!

If you think TK is the reason we don't have better non-conference football schedules, see this post.

    This is my fear also.

    He won't be.

    He can't be.

No way our program survives two more years of this crap.

I really doubt we would be Sav State at this point. After two more years of this complete garbage, we won't be able to beat any half-decent high school.

    Sigh.

Once again, there is no buyout. It doesn't exist. The contract will run full term, unless Summers decides to walk away from guaranteed money.

Summers could still possibly be removed from responsibilities as head coach of Georgia Southern at the conclusion of this season, but the base pay guaranteed in the contract would continue to be executed until the end of the contract's term.

Unless and until he becomes employed at which point the GSUAF makes up the difference
