Why would we say no and let go of a successful system? Surely you jest. A little secret, all Sunbelt HC's would agree with you and pray that we completely let it go.

    You're joking or Koo-Koo.

The spread/ flex option works great. Yes you need the right staff & players but it still works great.

ErK won 82% of his games

Johnson won 86% of his games at Southern blowing the top off rushing and scoring records

Monken now at Army did well at GSU and has turned around Army. Army has been sad since 1997.

*** Is the Spread option perfect - NO - but it works great under the right coaching staff.
GSU Spread Option FOOTBALL - out weighed, but never outplayed

    OOOOOPS!

    *Army Article
Army football, in its fourth season under Coach Jeff Monken, is authoring a renaissance season — its best campaign, by any reasonable measure, since 1996. Two years ago, Army finished 2-10. This week, the 7-2 Black Knights received votes in both the Associated Press poll and the coaches’ poll. They have already accepted an invitation to the Armed Forces Bowl, their second consecutive bowl appearance."

Put the talent that we can recruit into this offense at it's purest and watch it go...
"Did we give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?... No, Who is with me?" Bluto

"We'll win one we should have lost, and lose one we should have won, surprise a OOC FBS opponent or two, win the SBC Championship and get our second bowl win" Me

    Exactly! You nailed it.

With our talent, it's a misnomer that the flex would not excel. Better athletic players=flex success with the right Flex coach.
