1. Q&A with Head Coach Jeff Price

[By all accounts you had a successful season last year. How would you assess it? JP: I think anytime you win 20 games and play at the top of your conference and had some win streaks like we had – seven of eight games on a couple of occasions – obviously I feel like we had a successful season. But going into my 10th year we certainly have figured out how to play well during the regular season and have to play better in the postseason. So what some people view as successful, others don’t. I certainly think it was successful but we have one primary goal now and that’s to find a way to get into the NCAA Tournament.]

3. Eagles Prepare for the Landfall Tradition

[“I cannot say enough about the resolve and character of our team on the final nine at the Mizuno. I hope we can build off that, come out focused tomorrow (Friday) and play three good days of golf heading into our long break,” said Mays. “We already accomplished one of our team goals, actually twice by winning two tournaments (Raines Development Group Intercollegiate and Mizuno Savannah Intercollegiate). Now it’s time for us to go out and finish the fall on a high note.”]

I know Ali and Kristi are looking forward to facing some tough opponents this weekend and want to continue with the momentum they have built up over the past few tournaments.”]

6. Women’s Basketball Preseason Report

[“It (practice) has been good,” said Cram. “I like their work ethic and they have been working hard, but we just have a lot to learn. We have six newcomers plus Logan Youngblood who redshirted last year. That is half your ball club. It (practice) is slower than this time last year because we only had one freshman last season.”]

7. Eagles liking Mora what they see from kicker

["We have great confidence in him," Hatcher said. "We feel like he can go in there and kick a game-winner if need be. He's still got a lot of work to do. He has a tendency to kick the ball low sometimes and on the long-range ones that isn't a good sign. But he's getting better, I think his leg's getting stronger and each game he's getting more and more confidence."]
