1. Patrick Bolen Named 'Special Teams Player of the Week'

2. Southern Boosters Announces Fund Raising Highs

[At the previous Southern Boosters Board of Directors Meeting, the staff presented the Board of Directors with final fund raising numbers for the 2007-08 fiscal year and 2008 Annual Campaign. For the fiscal year ended June 30, 2008, the organization exceeded the $2.3 million raised mark.]

4. Hatcher dismisses three from team

[Georgia Southern coach Chris Hatcher announced the dismissal of three players from the football program Monday. All three - running back Samair Baker and wide receivers Nick Bass and Demarcus Watts - were true freshmen and had been solid contributors during the season.
