1. UPC Lineman of the week vs. Western Carolina

[In the Eagles' 38-31 overtime win at Western Carolina, the junior offensive lineman from Lily, GA accounted for two pancake blocks. His blocking was key in opening up holes for two Eagle rushing touchdowns during Georgia Southern's historic comeback. Trey's performance secured 40% of this week's vote and this marks the first time that he has been named UPC Lineman of the Week.]

2. Men's Basketball Picked Third in Preseason SoCon Polls

The Georgia Southern women’s basketball team was picked to finish 5th in the conference by the coaches and the Southern Conference Media. The Lady Eagles finished last season with a 13-5 conference record and was the four seed in the Southern Conference Tournament.]

4. Women’s Soccer Falls 2-1 in Regular Season Finale to Davidson
