1. Men's Basketball's Road Trip Continues Saturday at Charleston

[“We need to refocus,” said head coach Jeff Price. “We have to put the last game behind us and take them one game at a time and continue to try and get better. We’ve got to do a better job of staying in front of the ball defensively and make open shots. We missed a lot of open shots yesterday.”]

2. Lady Eagles Travel to Davidson Saturday Afternoon

[The Georgia Southern women’s basketball team will travel to Davidson, N.C. to take on the Davidson Wildcats in a Southern Conference game Saturday afternoon. Davidson stands atop the conference standings, remaining undefeated in conference play; Georgia Southern is fourth in the league. The game will mark the 34th time the two teams have met. Tip-off is slated for a 2 pm start at John M. Belk Arena.]

3. Lady Eagles try and take down No. 1 again

["It's not the end of the year if we lose, but at the same time, it's a great positioning game," Georgia Southern coach Rusty Cram said. "When you look at the four we've had, they're the four top in the preseason pick. We're 2-1 right now of those. If we can walk away from these four big ones at 3-1, I can't see anybody else in the conference who's going to do that."]

4. Cougars guard against 'letdown'

["We're not taking this game lightly at all," Johnson said. "We want to take out our anger on Georgia Southern. We're all upset. After the North Carolina game, me and (Charleston guard) Tony White Jr. were talking, and we were like 'We feel bad for the rest of the teams in the SoCon because we're upset about this one.' The fact is we're kind of looking to get revenge against everybody else we play this year.”]

5. An Afternoon with Da Bears at Halas Hall

[Chicago Bears running back Adrian Peterson came up to me in the hallway wanting to give me an interview, but I just ignored him.]
