[Chester Webb, a basketball player for Georgia Teachers College (now Georgia Southern University) from 1952-56, has been named to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame's Class of 2014. A native of Elberton, Ga., Webb was the first native Georgian to be named a college basketball All-American.]
