10. Thomson's Darius Eubanks signs with Georgia Southern

I get sick every time I hear that word "Cupcake". It shows nothing but low class and ignorance.

I do too, and I've actually signed up on a lot of these blogs to post support for GSU. However, perception is reality. Our record could be 20-0 against FBS teams, but the fact that we are FCS makes us a cupcake.

My Father played football at Clemson. I'm sure he'd wince at this statement, "9 Clemson: Middle Tennessee; Central Michigan; Coastal Carolina; at South Carolina. If the Tigers didn't have to play the Gamecocks, there's no telling who they'd schedule."

Ask Michigan how sweet a cupcake tastes. They still can't get that sour taste our their mouth.

Seriously everyone?

We were 6-5 last year. 7-4 the year before. 3-8 the year before that.

Perception is reality...we are a cupcake.

I for one was being serious, actually very serious. I see the label "cupcake" as being insulting and condescending to a group of young men. Because they play in a lower division and the team does not have the overall talent that a BCS team has is no reason to degrade them. A writer (blogger) can find other terms to use, such as lower division FCS schools, that is sophisticated and and doesn't get to the level of street talk.
