1. Women's Basketball Tops Wofford 79-70 for first SoCon Win

2. ESPN Football Broadcast Crew Sends Special Delivery

[Shipping and deliveries of packages certainly pick up around the holidays and a special package arrived at Georgia Southern to be presented to Eagle quarterback Kevin Ellison last week. The ESPN College Football broadcast crew of Coach Lou Holtz, Rece Davis and Mark May sent a unique memento in honor of Ellison, who earned a helmet sticker from Mark May on the night of Georgia Southern's 26-20 win over Florida.]

5. New Army coach needs a résumé

[Georgia Southern coach Jeff Monken could fit the bill. Monken, a candidate when Ellerson was hired in December 2008, coached under triple-option guru Paul Johnson at Navy and Georgia Tech. Monken's Georgia Southern team defeated Florida, 26-20, on the road last month.
