GSU falconer bridges divide between man, nature

Its trainer, Steve Hein, stood at the 30-yard line wearing a gauntlet on his right arm, waiting for the raptor to land on his fist.
Fans cheered the pre-game flight of Georgia Southern University's mascot one Saturday afternoon last fall.
