2. Spring Practice #6

[“Well I thought we flew around good. We had a lot of guys that missed assignments on both sides of the ball. We had a lot of effort and a lot of guys wanting to stick their face mask in there and try to make some plays defensively,” said Hatcher. “Offensively, we are getting close to clicking on all cylinders, things are coming along nicely. We’ve got two more days before spring break and hopefully we’ll have two more good days of work.”]

3. Plugging the gaps

[“We can handle it,” Wylie said. “We’ve got a good defensive line coach and he teaches us how to take on the double team. It’s really tough, but as long as you keep moving and never stop, keep your hands moving, it gets easier. A sack is awesome. It’s just like a touchdown.”]

6. NFL Free Agency Roundup - Kevin Jones

[Jones only had 34 carries for 109 yards last season, so it's hard to tell if he's healthy or not. With his past troubles, the odds are on "not". He'll be backing up starting RB Matt Forte, but he can't even be considered a reliable handcuff as the Bears are still inexplicably fond of using Garrett Wolfe and the other Adrian Peterson.]

7. Elder opens vs. Illinois champ

[GIRLS' SOCCER: Finneytown junior Alex Murphy has orally committed to play at Georgia Southern, athletic director Chuck Grosser said. Georgia Southern is a Division I school that plays in the Southern Conference. Murphy has 39 goals and 13 assists in her career at Finneytown.]
