[Drew Lethem shot a 2-under par 70 for a third round finish on the final day of competition at the 30th Annual Schenkel E-Z Go Invitational to finish tied for 11th and lead the Georgia Southern golf team to a sixth place finish. The elite 18-team tournament, featuring all nationally ranked teams, was played on the par 72, 6,962-yard Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga.]


2. Eagles Capture Fifth Straight with 6-1 Win Over Western Carolina

The loss puts the Eagles at 5-7 on the season and 1-3 in league play, while the Paladins moved to 12-7 overall and 3-0 in SoCon matches.]


5. Baseball Drops Finale at Appalachian State

[“We got a good effort from Matt Murray and Kyle Kamppi out of the bullpen. We just couldn’t get enough going offensively and didn’t put a whole lot of pressure on their pitcher or defense all day,” said head coach Rodney Hennon. “You can tip your hat to (Josh) Dowdy, he pitched a heck of a game for them today.”]
