1. Basketball Hires Charlton Young as Head Coach

[Former Georgia Southern basketball standout, Charlton Young has been hired as the new head coach for Eagle basketball according to multiple sources.]


2. Ga. Southern expected to hire Ga. Tech hoops assistant

[Georgia Tech assistant basketball coach Charlton Young is expected to be announced as the new coach at Georgia Southern in a news conference Thursday morning, according to a person in Tech’s athletics department.]


3. Tech assistant appears to be on way to Eagles

[Georgia Southern obtained permission to speak with Young last week, but he hadn’t interviewed as of Tuesday morning.]


4. Eagles’ Grad Young to be Named GSU Men’s Hoops Coach

[Several sources tell WSAV News 3 that Charlton Young will be named the next men’s basketball coach at Georgia Southern University in a press conference tomorrow morning on the Statesboro campus.]


5. Georgia Tech falls to Georgia Southern
