Bourjos knocked in two more with a double to right-center field, and Statia made it 9-0 with a high bouncer over third base for a two-run single.]

6. 6th-inning rally saves Senators

[Jemel Spearman (2-for-4) extended his hitting streak to four games with another single before Daniel brought the first run home.]


7. No All-Stars? No problem as C's takes second straight series in Oregon

[The Emeralds scored a pair in the bottom of the 6th inning as OF Matt Vern lead off with a triple to right field off of RHP Joselito Adames and later scored on a single off the bat of OF Ty Wright. Wright would come around to score on a single from SS Dean Anna to cut the Canadians lead to 4-2.]


8. Brannan wowed by US Amateur

[Brannan, a 2008 Hollidaysburg Area High School graduate who won the 2006 PIAA?title, is transferring from Georgia Southern, where he spent his freshman year, to the University of Maryland. "I'm looking forward to being at Maryland," he said. "They just got a new practice facility so it should be really nice, and it will be good to be able to come home instead of being so far away."]
