If you use FireFox, download this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7023

You can block users, threads, signatures........

Is there a way to block the text from the ignored user if someone else quotes them?

What about blocking threads from thread starters that are on the ignore list?

Not an automated way, that I'm aware of.

However, you could elect to not click on the thread.

Part of the problem on how that all works is ... that as a moderator ... I don't have the 'ability' to see how the ignore feature works. The moderators can't put posters on ignore. There is no perfect solution.

Just wondering.

One way is to man up and not let comments on a message board bother you. Avoiding things you don't like or agree with will hurt you in life.
