Thread: I'm watching the Texas Tech game

  1. #1

Default I'm watching the Texas Tech game

Actually, the second game I've watched this year.

Texas Tech is exciting, and I like their offense.

Our offense is nothing like this.

    That is all!!

    GATA Eagles!

Our offensive line isn't a massive wall either.

    Or even a stumbling block.

Well, it is. But it's a stumbling block for us and not them.

If we can ever manage to look half as impressive as Texas Tech on the field then we'll blow up 1-AA. This offense is insane.

I love Musberger "Just try and stop it folks. Just try and stop it."

I thought Colt McCoy had the heisman sown up, but it's Harrell's to lose no question.

I will say I'd hate to be a punter on their team haha

The Texas Tech quarterbacks get rid of the ball ON TIME, to the correct receiver after making the correct read, & put the ball "on the money" so their guy can catch it, every time. Not, "every now & then".

The Texas Tech receivers seem to catch anything they can touch, too.

In a "passing offense", thats what it takes to win games. You gonna throw the ball? You better be able to deliver the ball where it can be caught, every time. And, your receivers better catch it, every time. We don't have the "pieces to the puzzle" to be a successful "passing offense" this year based on the execution I've seen thus far, imho.

I laughed at those myself. I've seen some basketball teams use them in a noisey arena but never a football team using ones THAT big. D*mn thing looked like a puzzle!

The QB has been in the system for four or five years. That's what it takes to get the timing perfect. Of course the receivers have to hang around for more than one or two seasons too.
