The one they just fired yes.

I wouldn't expect that to be the same for the whoever they hire. Comparatively Navy's HC makes 1.7 mil or something like that.

Monken could also be using this for a raise tool.

I won't hate coach either way, but man is this a bad time. Silver lining, maybe he gets Army to come down and be our next home OOC opponent.

Once a team asks to speak to a coach, all the details have been settled on Army's side. They WILL offer this position to CJM and folks, I seriously doubt he turns it down

There is NEVER a good time to lose a coach, unless he is a terrible coach. I hope Monken stays but if he is going to leave I hope it gets done soon so we can find a replacement as soon as possible.

I won't have good feelings. He started alot of stuff to walk out the door before seeing it through. I hate that we are leaving Erk's practice field, but Monken said thats what he wants. I hate that we aren't just expanding Bishop, but Monken said thats what he wants.

Hey if he leaves, he leaves. Georgia Southern is a plum job for somebody. We would have no problem attracting some great people. With everything we have going on we would get a ton of applicants. If he does leave one big change for him - recruiting. You have to recruit a completely different type of player for the service academies. It is a year round commitment with an additional commitment after the first two years if you stay. Not for everyone.
