    We already knew we'd be lower.

    Capacity was capped at 18k, so even if we had a packed stadium every week, we still would have been below 2012's numbers.

    Be interesting to see what JMUs attendance does with some of the dissent they have going on with boosters

    Well clearly a "pointless" transition season didn't effect Appy too much. 18k cap or not, attendance was pretty sparse and pathetic in some games last year. I'd have to attribute that to the new ticket policy, which thankfully it sounds like they've tweaked for this upcoming season. Another thing I'd attribute it to, is that in North Carolina, the Tar Heels and Wolfpack don't exactly have the diehard fan base that UGA has here. The majority of college football fans here in the state are raised UGA fans, so when they have a choice between a "pointless" Southern game or staying home and watching UGA, what do you think they're going to do? Obviously this wasn't a problem the year before, but that's because we were actually competing for a National Championship. I think attendance is going to be incredible this year...there's a very nice buzz on campus about our team right now.
