Thread: 2015 COACHING SEARCH

    Default 2015 COACHING SEARCH

Well so is life in the FBS and the G5. It is going to be hard to keep any coach until we get close to being able to shell out 1M or over. So even if we don't lose Fritz this year any sort of continued success and it will not be long.

    Here is my first candidate.

Excluding one year at Delta State he has turned around to programs at two different levels and appears based on just a few videos runs more like we run now and have recruited for rather than the under center TO we used to.

If you think TK is the reason we don't have better non-conference football schedules, see this post.

I wonder if Paul Rhoads would be interested?

If Bama has to worry about Nick Saban leaving, what makes GSU any different? This is the rumored 2nd time Texas is interested in Saban.
No longer eating crow for saying "The TO is gone get over it!!"

Promote McGhee. Pay Ruse a little extra to stay. Continue on track.

Not commenting on your choice of coach (I think he should be considered and I think he might actually be better than Houston).

Just commenting on the Flight Line talking coaching replacements because of one internet rumor.

Handing it over to a guy up until last month highest job in FBS football is a two years of being the RB coach is selling this job way short. There are candidates with socks older than Dell has been in college coaching. You are going to tell Ruse he is less of a candidate being OC for the last two years......ok.

Cmon you really think we are going to keep Fritz longer than at best another year. This team is not getting worse next year for sure. It is highly unlikely we go less than 8-3 again next year with ULL tanking hard now. Our pay is at the very bottom of the G5 much less FBS.

Honestly if there is even a shred of truth of him being interested in a job in a talentless state like Iowa what other really good G5 or any P5 wouldn't he leave for.

Anybody but a flexbone coach. That offense inhales vigorously.
