Scheduling UNH is a rookie move.

Don't put perrenial top 25 FCS teams on the schedule. Sure...we'll LIKELY win, but why even risk it?

I guess North Dakota State wasn't available.

I'm still trying to get over the fact that we spelled their name H-A-M-S-P-H-I-R-E in the press release.

Can't help but agree. If you're scheduling an FCS, schedule the easy win for bowl eligibility. Hopefully whoever wins the 2017 QB race will get some playing time this year.

Very few fcs teams are on ndst level, if we can't beat these fcs teams we shouldn't be Bowling. Not too impressed with these, but better than ssu. Guess it won't be until 2020 before we get a decent ooc home game. Hopefully we can double the donations and donors, get over 10k ticket holders, expand Paulson to make it easier to give up a money game and schedule some good home and home series.
    Just One More Time!!!

UNH is good move considering the other OOC games that year.

I always laugh at the, "if we couldn't beat so and so we don't DESERVE to go bowling."

Nonsense. You don't deserve to go bowling if your AD sets up a terrible schedule that screws you. App State lost to LIBERTY in 2014. They ended up with 7 wins and rocked Ark State and UL-Lafayette. Had they been eligible, they would have gone bowling and it would have been well deserved.

Excited for PC but I would have like to stick to the model of scheduling regional FCS schools that aren't SSU. Playing Citadel was great. I was hoping to see Mercer, Kennesaw, or Furman on the list in the future. Schools our fans know well.
