    Admiration and Respect for Coach Ayers. True student athletes and won with them.

    The SoCon has balanced itself out a little bit since the departures of ASU/GSU. We knew there would be a transition.

    VMI is awful, but the rest of the league is fun to watch. A lot of different offensive looks and a bunch of young talented players. The league is not nearly as top heavy as it was during the “big three” years 15 years ago, and pretty much anyone (besides VMI) can pull off a win on any Saturday.

    The goal now is to get some teams back where we can compete with James Madison and NDSU. Those two programs are just on another level right now.
