Thread: Things Are Looking Up

    Default Things Are Looking Up

We have hired a great coaching staff and secured some good games on the schedule in the upcoming seasons. If that doesn't get you pumped up.... this will:

Legit brought a tear to my eye. An experience I'll never forget.

No one worth a durn is going to work for us!!!1
    TK hates the option!!!1
Lunsford is going to keep Cook and Zo!!!1
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah ....
Hey TK! Change the culture back!

If you think TK is the reason we don't have better non-conference football schedules, see this post.

I am excited but nothing matters but winning. Will withhold judgment until next fall/winter.

To be a parent of a player on that day, in The Swamp, and see that go down like it did...I don't know if I've ever felt anything as good as that feeling. More for him, but more than grateful to be a once-removed part of it!

Only chance of this team winning less than 6 games is if it's ravenged by injuries. Anybody predicting 4 wins or some crap like that is clueless. Post Arkansas St game is going to be fun around here to watch the crow being eaten. Heck, even post UNH is going to provide some fun.

I have 2 good friends who are die hard Gator fans - the good kind - I've long talked about Georgia Southerns games and they politely listened and nodded.

Now I mention this one game every so often and they look at me funny and say " How about a rematch?"

Yeah the Celine Dion song was a bit much.............

Let your friends know that was the rematch! They beat us in 96 with their National Championship team and we had Frank Ellwood steering the rudder-less ship. That was the most talented team I have played against. I think their entire defense and 2/3 of the offense went to the league. Their QB (Danny Wuerffel) won the Heisman that year!

That one was Game 2 of the series. Game One was in 1986.
