Not to mention, we just finished putting on a 2 year historic crap show, and yet some are just "meh?" Gee, can't please everyone.
I think people are pleased with what CL was able to pull off given the circumstances. But next years class should be, and needs to be better.

CL was looking for recruits who best fits his scheme and Georgia Southern's GATA. In that respect mission accomplished. Winning improves recruiting. Considering the last two years this class is outstanding and will only get better with CL's success.

What CL and staff did in a short time was an A+ but where the class is compared to what it could be with competent coaching, recruiting and winning its a B at best. No reason we cant be top ten G5 or recruit as well as Tulane.

So if I counted right this class we had 7 3-star guys, and 15 non-3-star guys.

2 of the 7 3-star guys got into the last category
7 of the 15 non-3-star guys got into the last category

Something that I'll always remember and appreciate about Christian Williams is that, when Coach Monken resigned, he got on the phone and stayed in touch with the other commits and, to a great extent, held the recruiting class together. I don't know anything about him as a person or why he never got a lot of playing time, but I remember reading at the time about his efforts to keep the focus on having committed to GS, not to a coach. For that, he will always be one of my favorite Eagles.

Put the 24/7 numeric rank next to their names as this would actually be meaningful I bet not one of those three is above .85. Prior to this year we singed exactly ONE three star kid that was above .85 with Glenn. I doubt the spread on our two and three star kids is significant. Again ignorance is bliss if you think a star grades are one size fits all or if a ..794 guy doing better than a .801 guy is some grand discovery lol.
