Thread: Edwin Jackson's memorial

  1. Default Edwin Jackson's memorial

A link to those who want to see today's service. Coach Monken came down to speak, and I believe Coach Fritz and Lunsford were in attendance, too.

Thanks, watching it now. Saw an article that 3 of his coach's were there. Colts have set up a fund in his name for a scholarship to be given out annually. Twitter isn't coming up so can't link it right now.
No longer eating crow for saying "The TO is gone get over it!!"

Says a lot when 3 of your college coaches show up.

Especially when one of them only coached you for a season.

Fritz did speak before Monken, and they were preceded by Chuck Pagano, the now former Colts coach.

Fritz also retweeted a tweet calling for Georgia Southern fans to have car flags up today to honor Jackson. I remember Fritz use to brag on Jackson it seemed every week at the coach's show. I'm really interested to hear his comments when I get a chance to watch the funeral later.

It was a nice memorial. Laughs and tears were had.

Special kudos to Jim Irsay, who paid for the funerals of both Edwin AND the Uber driver.

I watched the words from Coach Fritz and Coach Monken and it just supports the notion that we are a part of a special place... Georgia Southern.

It was good. I watched on the channel 5 livestream. CWF and CJM did a great job.
