They may have us starting at #113, but with the returning talent we have along with a coaching staff that should actually be able to use that talent instead of wasting it, I have to believe that we will be MUCH higher up the list by the end of the season.

I also read the link for the article ranking coaching hires. Some of that was cut and pasted into the early rankings. I look at #113 as a floor more than a ceiling. Something would have to go very wrong to end up there.

FAU is so absurdly high. The best team they beat all year was North Texas and Troy beat them pretty easily.
Guess that's the Kiffin effect.

No. That's reality. FAU broke like every school record last year and we're legitimately a damn good G5 team based on both the eyeball test and analytics.

Agreed. When I saw “absurdly high” I thought i was going to find them around 10th or something. They will probably be a top 25 preseason team so this ranking was basically spot on.

So Ark St is ranked higher than Arkansas, Kentucky, Vandy, Nebraska, Ole Miss and some other decent teams. Not saying they wont be any good but these rankings are not realistic to me. We are behind Old dominion for god sakes. FAU #27 What the hell.
