I've said on more than one occasion that Byington might have stopped a mid-second half slide with a well-timed technical foul. I've got nothing against getting vocal as a strategy (Hennon's ejection in the Sun Belt title game seemed to shift the tide). It just doesn't need to be a 40-minute performance art piece. With all of the jumping and screaming and flailing he does, I can't believe it took Hunter so long to hurt himself on a court.

Unrelated, but I had to work in Monroe earlier this year. Imagine a place stuck in the 70's, with brown water that's "perfectly safe to drink". Seriously, the hotel I stayed in had a note next to the sink saying "we understand the discoloration of the water, but the City of Monroe assures you that it is safe to both drink and bathe in."
Honestly, I doubt many will show up to the game but I will point out that going from Atlanta to Statesboro is nothing like going from Monroe to New Orleans. I understand your point was relative to distance, but as you pointed out, Monroe is town people may want to get out of for a weekend. And, I imagine many ULM alumni reside in New Orleans area.

Wait that sounds like an exact comparison to me

I do not think UTA will be a push over. Not sure what happened to them this year, but those seniors will rally now and IMO a healthy Hervey can school any Cajun.

Never thought I would say this about Sun Belt basketball, but if GS and GAST both win today then the two Semi-final games (UL/UTA & GS/GAST) will be great match-ups!

Yeah, well, UALR, TXST, StAte, etc., are all done, we will have to play a good team eventuality if we want to win the conference.

Troy forgot to show up tonight. Neither team looks that good.
