Other than special teams and safety, where else would you utilize him? LB, cornerback? A little late in his career for offensive conversion. What's his strong suit?

I hope he does land with someone but honestly if he doesn't he has had a decent career. Only a select few have a long NFL career but either way I wish him well and I hope he can find a spot somewhere.

At this point, his experience (guaranteed minimum) starts to work against him.

I was thinking the same thing. Younger guys that can play the same role for lots less cabbage.

Hopefully he’s got a good backup plan, to go into coaching or some such.

Always hate to see one of our own get cut but the way I look at it JJ started a few seasons for the Dallas Cowboys, was very good at what he did at least for a couple years, and was able to play in the NFL. Yes it will be hard now that he has been cut a couple times but you never know I have seen some pretty crazy situations with guys getting cut and then making it with another team only to be better than before. It will be tough for him considering his position but good luck to JJ, if anything he represented GSU well and had a nice run.

He walked today. He posted a pic on his IG story. Good for him to come back and finish up.
