    .

It all starts with a simple letter of genuine opportunities. Start small and go from there. We may be surprised of interested recruits. Never no if never offered. Some HS athletes would jump at the possibility of changing states and coast for an interested school offer.

IMO it's not worth the cost of the stamp because if they are interested, guess who's going to pay for the flight and hotel to the Boro? Because some recruits go for an official visit just for the free trip and VIP service.

Your Talkin self absorbed individuals and that's where intelligent recruiting is properly filtered. Go ahead and limit yourself to local talent and we have plenty. But your a blind man in the city if you limit the possibility of statewide recruitment.

Anyone know what GS is paying for cost of attendance stipend now? Only thing I found was by a guy at CBS Sports that compiled a theoretical list when COA was first approved and had GS higher than any team in the SEC.

And what everyone is trying to tell you is that we don't have the resources to waste on intelligent recruiting in other states that we are MAYBE going to get one player from every third year. Other than LA Ramsby, who have we gotten recently from outside the 4-5 hour radius of the Boro that has produced anything? And don't say Kado because the jury is still out on him since he hasn't done much and almost didn't come at all because of a musical career or something crazy like that.

Sure, give us an unlimited recruiting budget and we'll stretch out our boundaries. But until then, we're more than fine with a 4-5 hour circle around the Boro.

Also worth mentioning they’re sending those jets right TO our recruiting area. Couple the expenses it would take with us BEING where the talent IS, I wouldn’t stress recruiting too much out of our region.

No top 10 college teams would ever limit their recruiting to four states.

Top 10 programs are chasing high 4 and 5-star recruits around the country, we are not. It makes no sense to use our limited resources to try to recruit 3-star recruits multiple states away when we are surrounded by them.

It's rather cheap to send a letter of interest to thousands of possible recruits throughout our 50 States. If we don't reach out and offer, we will never know the possibilities. Perhaps there's a kid in Hawaii, Washington State or Minnesota who would loved to play at Georgia Southern. If ignored, we will never know.

We obviously already do at least that much, as we have 10 different States represented on our current roster.

California and Florida are ahead of Georgia mostly because of shear population. No real data but most likely.
