Sad, good man, good coach. Kips fault was recruiting. We have a very competitive Woman's basketball team if we were playing on the D2 level. This team is slow and ranked at the bottom of SB in just about every DEFENSIVE category. This entire group is back and unless they put some muscle on, improve Quickness and make a effort to an all out.and be a hard nosed defense the new coach is up against it.

GS will never find a better man on ball coach than Kip Drown.

He inherited a dumpster fire and was slowly making us competitive.

Now TK has pushed the reset button and we won’t be competitive for another five years.
    Disgusting.

Chris Vozab was 23-68, Drown 18-57.

To be fair, I don't know if there's someone we can hire who will make us better.

We should be able to do better than that

Umm the guy won 7 games this year and lost 8 in a row to close out the year. He was worse last year winning only 5 games and lost 7 in a row end the year. In 2016 he won 13 games which was respectable.

I think TK can do better.

got to disagree, his best season was his first with the team he inherited, the last two seasons are all his kids he recruited. Like I posted, I love Kip and all those girls but you can't be ranked 11th/12th in every SB defensive categories and expect to win. The new HC has there work cut out for them. Somehow have to make a slow pitiful defensive team into a defensive team. The question is, is there really D1 talent out there or is it a 2-4 year rebuild, IMO a 2-4 year rebuild.

I don’t trust TK to hire anybody. Look at how bad softball is as well.
Too many Urkels on your team that's why your wins low

If TK had hired Coach K we’d be looking for a new coach.

I hate it for him. By all accounts he is a good man and probably a lot better coach than his record gives him credit for, but lack of recruiting is a killer. I don't know where the hotbeds of Women's Basketball talent are, or what it takes to tap into it, and get some of that talent here on campus, but we really need to find a way to get back to being competitive.
