I have not attended that stadium yet. Hear it’s a total dump.

I wonder where the train whistle tradition came from....

Maybe it was just the most convenient item to steal.

Don’t slow down in that part of the ATL. Your stuff might get stole too.

QUESTION - for those in the know. No matter what G-Staters say there attendance was doesn't the Sun Belt or NCAA get an accounting report on MONEY actually brought in from the tickets sold for the games at the end of the year? I remember looking up FCS teams that win the black and red indicator match ticket sales? When GSU was in FCS. GSU was just in the black each year when I use to look that stuff up. Shouldn't ticket sales and seating match the net income for their stadium wouldn't that be an indicator?

They stole the train horn idea from Atlanta United

You can look at the USA Today financial reports they do every year for college athletics but all that does is tell you raw numbers for ticket sales. It doesn't indicate how much revenue they generate from sales at their stadium (tickets/donations/premium/etc) in that manner.

Most Georgia schools report Expenses = Revenues.

Did they steal it from Atlanta United or did a G-State panther fan attend a Chattanooga game or transfer from UTC and present the idea to the AD?

    Thanks EagleWraith.

I thought I remember a site back in the 90s that showed the revenue vs the expenses to show weather a team was in the Black or red for the year.

But like I said, it's very generic data, you won't answer the question you're asking.

Georgia Southern Ticket sales in $

    G-State ticket sales in $

Of course G-State could be selling all their home game tickets for 3 bucks as to fill their Super Stadium. ;-)

I don't think they sold tickets for$3, but we had an entire thread last fall about their effort to sell cut-rate tickets and then their rescinding the parameters of the deal.
