Does Carter stay at GS or will he get an offer he can't refuse at an ACC or SEC school? His dad works at Forest Heights and his mother is the retired superintendent in Evans county right down the road in Claxton, so he is close to home. He is a great young coach that the players love and would have to be on the radar of some of these schools.

As it stands now, he has it made at GS. Don't forget GS IMO, is a "high up D1 program", with, imo a reality based thought that we COULD WIN a D1 NC in golf. Lots of golf talent around these parts!

I know that Carter feels fortunate to be in the situation he is in and is very happy here. However, he has three children to raise and we probably could not come close to matching an offer from a big P5 program that really wanted him.

Didnít realize his dad worked at Forrest heights. Heís close to home so hopefully he stays, but money talks. Havenít really talked with him since we were on the golf team together in hs, but I do know he loves gs.
