Just wondering if any other team in Sunbelt has a chance of advancing to a regional. I keep hearing rumors.

tx state had terrible tournament so I think the good old SB is a one bid conference this year in both baseball and basketball and will become this more and more as the years pass on, the "big boys" like it that way.

Yep. A mediocre big boy gets in ahead of a solid little boy.

+1000 and the sad fact is get use to it, it's happening in all D1 sports, getting harder and harder for any "mid-majors" to get at large invites.

The tournament has zilch to do with at-large bids. It will come down to how many teams with no chance of an at-large steal bids. The DIbaseball has Texas State getting in.

Had things gone more chalk yesterday Texas State would probably be in. But there were a couple of bids stolen and the bubble shrunk and both Baseball America and DI Baseball moved the Bobcats from in to out. If they had just picked up a couple of wins in Conway they could secured a spot, but that 0-2 is not a good last impression for the committee.

This is true, however, sadly I don’t think the SBC had any “solid little boys” this season. It was a down year.

I don’t think we were a solid little boy. Sadly, we seem to have hit our ceiling.
