Or until we leverage that into a rematch at Our House. They'd never play in Statesboro you say? Fine with me, we'd own them then.

No win would have done more, unless you wanna claim Alabama, but I assumed we were talking about games we "shoulda, woulda, coulda"
    +1

A win over GT would not be better for the program than a win against UGA, and we would have leverage for a rematch with either program after a win.

+1. We could savor that W for a long, long time.

I still got to say, the two losses in 2014 vs NCState and GT. really were HUGE. We had BOTH games, win them and WOW, possibly the countries perception of GS FBS football would certainly have been enhanced. Not to mention, those would have been two P5 wins in a single season rather than "hay, we knocked off so and so in 89, so and so in 98 etc....."

For me it HAS to be NCST or GT in 14. Win one and we have at least a 10 win season and can you imagine our appeal to bowl being denied then? It would have been talked about to death on ESPN

You would rather see us beat a mediocre NCST (3-5 in ACC) for a greater CHANCE to get into the NOLACamelliaCureGoDaddyToilet Bowl then beat the University of Georgia?

Catch a punt. That's all we had to do.

    I hate you.

01 Furman. PJ and AP's last game at Paulson.
    I will freely admit - I didn't cry at my father's funeral. Didn't cry at my mother's.
But I bawled like a baby after that game.

they'd have spent 60 seconds on it.
and then focus on what kind of effect it would have on Alabama's recruiting.

There are several good options, but that one game would have meant a lot for us.

Second place would be 2012 NDSU. Third would be 2014 GT.
This except switch 2 and 3. When I read about monken pulling in a soccer player to place kick and baker fumbling the paperwork I knew we would be up against the wall.

I’d like to add that the “fumble” at tech happened right where I was seated. Had to be the worst call in history. I was livid...pretty sure I made my mother and father blush with the new words I made up on the spot.
