The guy that said it was cheaper to go to a Braves game appears to live in Statesboro.

I'm gonna call BULL **** on his comment.

Some folks just want to find something to complain about.

I have seen it mentioned many times here.... our fan base wants filet mignon at hamburger prices. I would love to get that but I don't gripe about it when it does not happen.

It's actually cheaper to park at the RAC now.

Used to require a donation plus they only sold passes for the season, no single game passes.

Now it's cheaper there, plus the PAC got RV spots, plus the PAC now has access to an actual bathroom instead of Port A Potties. I don't see a problem here.

I gladly pay $1700 to park in the stadium. I won't cry for their $60.

The GATA Row folks are very “upset”. Can’t say that I blame them.

I would like to know the thought process behind this and the reason they waited so late to announce it.

I mean I'll miss the free spot but it was starting to get a little crazy. I get it that its a hard pill to swallow relative to free but its really not that much. $60 isn't terrible and IF it guarantee me a decent parking spot then Im all for it. As for the GATA Row guys, if they are really upset, I would hope the Athletics dept could do something for them. Not saying that they deserve a complete pass but maybe throw them some type of bone. Either way a simple way around it is to just carpool and split the cost.

$10 per car. They aren't getting charged any extra for where they actually tailgate on the grass.

They'll also get access to the PAC for bathrooms, cause I think they used to rent a port a potty too (could be wrong on that) which means they may break even money wise.

$60 for 6 games is nothing. I don't get what the problem is. I pay much more to park in the stadium lot...but that's what I want for myself so I make it happen. It also costs a lot more to park there than it did when I first started. I pay it every year though cause I like it.

Hi. GATA Row hasn’t issued any statement regarding these changes yet. We are discussing this internally before saying anything. We haven’t voiced any opinions publicly on this yet.

Cheaper to attend a Braves or United game? Crack is whack.

Parking starts at $20 for a Braves game and can be $40 or more. They limit the amount of food you can bring in, and can only bring in 1 single bottle water. Otherwise it's about $20 pp to eat/drink and that's not even including alcohol. United Parking likely starts at $30. The lot I park in for United is $50 (Home Depot Backyard) when I do tailgate. MARTA is $5.00 round trip per person. Tickets are unavailable. Fan friendly food is available but that's going to run you about $10 pp. But if you want the good food that starts at like $10/item.
No longer eating crow for saying "The TO is gone get over it!!"
