I think a lot of guys kind of bounce around in their early years.

Remember, PJ was on the defensive side of the ball at one point.
    Sincerely,
    Irwin M. Fletcher

    P.S.: Have a nice day!

So it seems like you are, in fact, Not Roger Inman...here I was all this time thinking you were but just kinda hiding in plain sight so to speak.

I really think we have a very serious coaching problem in this area. Guys at all levels seem confused at times about how to block, who to block.

How it the pitch ever gonna work when we have 4 or 5 guys on one or both pitch men all the time?

Whichever coach is supposed to be in charge of this needs to watch some 2014-2015 film real closely. THAT is how it's supposed to look. The announcers frequently commented on how even Ellison and Upshaw were throwing blocks.

(I'm not suggesting that Shai is messing up, IDK if that would be appropriate now, but God I loved Ellison. He was such a baller. He was the perfect option version of Honey Badger)
Again, not trying to place blame, but I think some folks forget the position coach adjustments we had in the off-season. The wide receivers have someone new now, so I don't know if that's played a part? A few other positions saw changes as well, so maybe it just needs time, especially with everything else that's gone on..

Coffee High. We had Winslette in '94, my junior year.

Slightly embarrassing, I was wrong about Chestnutt, we had a different Chestnutt (Brian) on our staff, but I'd forgotten Bill Clark was our DC my senior year, lol. So we had a bunch of up and comers.

Thanks. That was my second guess. Was former Eagle QB Ken “The Snake” Burnette on that staff at that time, or did he join Winslette’s staff after the stint at Coffee County?

He was there as well in '94. That region was a monster back then, Coffee, Tift, Valdosta, Lowndes, Colquitt, Bainbridge, and Ware

I played at Lowndes during that time. My senior year was 95 season when Coffee had the bus wreck on the way to our game.
